My first "oopsie" in Spanish

Hola mi mama and mi amigo's!

I SEE CASEY ALL THE TIME and i love it!!!!! i get to see him for 15 min every breakfast lunch and dinner. and then i occasionally see him in passing. we eat together!! i love it! so, your two little kiddies are together :)we've taken many pictures together so i'll print those out today and send them to you.

i had my first "oopsie" in spanish. so, we are teaching this investigator, and his name is Alex. during our lesson, i said "and Jesus Smith restored the gospel". uh, its Jose Smith who restored the gospel. Joseph translates to Jose in spanish. Jesus is Christ. so, in the lesson i said Jesus Smith, not Joseph Smith. Hermana Allen shouts, FLASE DOCTRINE in the middle of our lesson, and it was then that i realized my mistake and we tried so hard not to laugh. but wait, its gets better. a few days later, i was giving a prayer in our zone meeting, and i said "Dios mando a su Hijo a la tierra para expiar nuestros PESCADOS". I just said that Heavenly Father sent his son, Jesus Christ down to earth to atone for our fish." I MEANT to say PECADOS not peScados. look closely at the spelling, you put one "s" in that word and it quickly turns from fish to sins. So, everyone was lauugghhiinnggggg so hard. ya ya ya...like that was the first time thats ever been mixed up. i figured you'd like those stories.

We're only allowed to write letters on thursdays now. even hand written ones. so keep your dear elders coming, i can read those any time...but i can only respond on thursdays. so, sorry about that :( but...strict obidience because i NEED the gift of tounges. reaaalll bad. my spanish is no bueno. but, it'll come. i know that.

This week we had an Elder Clarke, from the 70s come and talk, he was great!!! oh, look up "Porter Ellott" on lds.org. hes my teacher! HES AN AMAZING GUY!!!!! look up his story, and then dear elder me your respinse. i absolutely love him. he is my favorite teacher BY FAR!!!!!

Im doing pretty good at waking up at 6:00am every day. SURPRISINGLY casey is too!!! its a mission miracle mamma!!! Well mom, i gotta get going. i love you so much!!!! have a great week and keep sending those dear elders. I LOVE YOU!!!!
