THAT is why you are here!!

Hi Mom!!
How are you? I have a cool story to tell you so i'll start by telling that first. Ok, so you know how my patriarchal blessing says that im going to be a strength for my companions on my mission? welp....i have found that companion. I know for SURE that it is talking my current companion. Ok, so this is how i know. One day she breaks down crying and TOTALLY OPENS UP TO ME and tells me about how she's she has struggled in life and some really serious stuff from her past, and how her little heart has been hurting so much!   She had set up an apt to talk with Pres. before i got here so this past week she had the interview with him. She has been telling me how her whole mission has been so hard for her but now it feels good. She has said that i've been helping her and thanked me many times. So ok...anyways. So after she gets out with Pres. (which was about at 40 min interview) he calls me in. (im thinkin...."crap. ive screwed up somehow.") and he sits me down and says "is there anything you wanna tell me?" so in MY mind....i am racing through the past week and trying to think of anything that i could have possibley done wrong. I'm trying to think what my companion could have possibly told him, But...i come up with NOTHING. So, i ask...."umm is there anything that i can do to help her?" and he looks at me and says "keep doing what ever it is that you're doing. because whatever it is, its helping her out A LOT, and THAT is why you are here."  then he went on to say that i have been a huge help for her and how because im her companion she feels so much better about life in general. So....i found that comp that my blessing was talking about haha It was so cool to see something in my blessing actually coming true....it was a neat experience. So, that night i re-read my blessing and it was just so special. Im glad that i can be here to help her. I am not sure why my spunky little personality helps her, but it does. And then Pres. later told me "i know you are here for a reason. Even though this area is not spanish, this is exactly where you need to be. you need to be here for a reason and that reason is her. You are here for her". it was neat to hear him say that because when i first got the call to come to this area i cried and cried and cried and now...i see the bigger picture. the Lord will help me with my spanish, i do not doubt that, but for right now....ME helping her is more important than ME serving in a spanish area. And of course, the Lord knew that all along and it just took me a little time to figure it out, but the Lord knows what he's doing hahaha So, theres my neat story for the week.  I knew you would love that mom!

Ok, now onto other things. yes, i got that package with the cookies! They were soooo adorable!! Not gonna lie and say they were the best cookies ive ever eaten....cause truth is they were a liiiiitttlleeeee stale by the time they got to me, but they were def the cutest cookies ever!!! you are so cute mom! I loved the little cowboy hat one, and then the one that i KNOW jayne did because she put roxiie on there (and it looks just like her dog things she draws, so thank her for that!) and then....there is one that i just laughed at so hard!! I dont think this was your intention...or maybe it was...who knows. BUT! there was one who had the BUSHIEST eyebrows ever!!!!! so, i dont know if thats your subtle way of telling me that i need to get my eyebrows waxed or what! but...i laughed. So, thank you for the cookies :) I loved them, they were so YOU! 

The lady from YL who knew Pres B is Kristi Baxter. And another lady here, her son married Lyndsey Harns. She's from YL also. And then theres a guy who lived in Brea, his name isHenry Cazares. His mom still lives there, she's in the Brea 1st i think? He says he knows the Mackies, cool huh! Sister Cazares in one of the brea wards is this little older hispanic lady who makes tamales all the time. She lives off State College and Lambert.  anyways....so theres the people from YL. small world huh? or..."kingdom". OH!! and that AMAZING lady in one of my wards that i love....her name is Sister Valerie Fierro. She actually added you on facebook last night haha So thats the random friend request from someone in "Flower Mound Texas" its her. The one who bought us our groceries. SHES AWESOME MOM!! she has totally become like my little mom her in texas because anything i need she does it. We go over to her house everyday hahaha She's so cool....you're gonna LOVE HER! So, i slept walked the other night. I got up and thought that it was time to go exercise so i went to the closet, turned the light on (thats what woke up my companion!) and then put on my shoes and a jacket and then i walked out to the living room and sat on the couch to wait for her to get up. Welp, a little while later i woke up and freaked out cause i did not know how the heck i got out to the couch. It was 1:30 in the morning so i just walked back into my bed and fell right asleep. good thing the Lord protects us huh?

Ok before time runs up, im gonna go attach the pictures now. i love you! I'll write more in a little bit. Everything is going so good and i am super happy.
