Elder Powell leaves for DC!!!!

hi mom!!!
the hardest thing for me so far was saying goodbye to elder powell. i can NOT believe it was that hard. his first words to me was "this is harder than I thought" and i asked what and he said "saying goodbye to you". i almost cried, BUT i held it in!!! im proud of him!!! i miss him so much, but he is ready!!

elder holland came. he's amazing. i dont have enough time to write out the quotes here, but in my letter i write home, i'll write them then. i took lots of notes and want to share them with you, so i will send in the mail.

we have a new investigator. he's deaf. the purpose of this guy is to teach us that the language is not whats important during the lesson. that with the spirit there, you can teach no matter what. we utilize scriptures for him to read and pictures. its helpful and helps me stress less about the spanish. however, he doesnt know sign language. deaf and no sign language, can you imagine what a bummer?

OH!!! guess what. small world. ok, so my teacher....heremana KATIE BEAR, she served her mission in chili...and guess who her mission presedint was!!!!! Yep, its Carol Mays husband. Marissa's mother and father in law. so tell marissa to tell them that shes my teacher now! ALSO a guy who comes in and tutors us, HE WAS ELDER SONGS COMPANION!!!!! he surved in P4 for a while, his name is Elder Hunsaker. funny story huh hahah hes gonna txt elder song and tell him i say hi.

my companions are doing great. I love hermana allen so much, she is so neat. i have been trying to find ways to love hermana gonzalez each day and try and find something positive about her every day. that has made a difference and we're getting along well and our companionship is much stronger.

well, i love you mom!!! a lot!!!! thank you for EVERYTHING that you do for me!!! and make sure to tell roxiie that i say hi and i love her too. please take a picture of her next to my cardboard cut out. that would make my life complete :) im so glad jeff got home safe!!! im writing him a letter today!!! i want pictures of the family with him!!! PRONTO!!! tell him i say hi! i love casey and i am so happy that i got to have time with him here. love you mom!
