Hi mom!
how are you? im getting transfered and needless to say...i am DANG excited about it!!! i am going to Hurst, Texas! that is where i went on my exchange a few weeks ago and i came back and prayed that i would go there cause my companion is AWESOME the area is AWESOME and ITS SPANISH!!!!! i am going back spanish!!!!!!! oh man...i am THRILLED!!!!!! soo happy!!! im actually gonna be in a trio with hermana Barrett and hermana Facer. Both of them are soooo cool. I've met both and i am thrilled to be with them. We are all going to get along SO WELL. Ok, well there is my great news of the week hahaha. The sad part is, I am going to miss sister fierro and her family, a lot. they are so awesome and i love them so much, it is hard to say goodbye to them, but i know i will see them after my mission. she will be my friend for life!!
Make sure you tell Jayne Thatcher and Naoko that i say thank you for the subway card. that was so sweet of them, i love them!!
OK, the Lord truly hears and answers prayers! Good news, i dont have to go out on Halloween!! You know how major this is for me mom!! Our district gets together and we spend the night together doing trainings and stuff, so i dont have to see any costumes :) Theres this shirt in walmart that says "i dont do costumes" and i wanted to get a picture but i didnt have my camera, but when we go back today im gonna get a picture of it if they still have it. Which i really hope they do haha
Anyways what else? Oh, yeah sister shelton's sister, sister potter, she is so cool, i'd love to serve around her later.She was so fun when i met her!! Dawna sent me the sweetest letter and it almost made me cry, she really loves you. (and as do i :) ) I am so comforted to know you are not alone and have so many people that love you and take care of you, it makes it so much easier to focus on my work...which is why i am here!!!
Oh, the Phipps girls wrote me! they were all so adorable!! I dont have time to write them back today but please make sure to tell them that i got their letters and loved them and will try to write back as soon as i can. I accidentally left my new address back at the apt but i'll have sister fierro send it over to you later today. Oh and that story about jeff and saying that casey isnt dead was super funny. i laughed out loud. did you tell him to write me? if not, do so and also give him my address. Oh, and sounds like Stake Conference was great, tell Pres B i said good job and im really glad that you have two sons out on a mission. Elder Powell and Elder Powell. One elder is a littttlleeeeeeee more girlier than the other hahahaha. How I love that man!!!
Well, i gotta go email Pres and basically PRAISE him for sending me to my new area, i am so excited!! it is gonna be an AMAZING area and im not sure if its gonna extend my time today, but! i love you! and thank you for all that you do for me!! YOURE AN AMAZING PERSON AND MOM AND FRIEND!!!!!!!!! i love you more than shamu!!! and dont forget to do the things i asked for this email :)
