I trust in the Lord!!!

Dear Mamma,

How are you? You seem to be doing good so that's awesome!!  you are already in mine and Casey's prayers. (not that you werent before, but now EVEN MORE) so thats good to know to pray for that. you know what i've learned? You gotta be DANG SPECIFIC with the Lord when you pray to him. because if youre broad then He's gonna give you a broad answer.  but i trust the Lord. With my whole heart and i know that he will provide for our little family. 

 

GUESS WHAT!!! there is a westie who lives in our apartments!!!!! His name is Jack. and he is soooo adorable. We see him every morning when we walk to the gym for excersize and he comes and plays with me and stuff. And i went upstairs to get my pictures of Roxiie, in our apartment and he barged through the door and ran and jumped on my bed, so i took a picture. I have pictures to send you this week too, but thats one of them. Jack makes me so happy!! He reminds me of the little love of my life :) so its truly a tender mercy from the Lord when i get to see him in the mornings. We also have had a lesson with his mom, Patty. So hopefully things progress with her and she can become and investigator and get baptized!!!! She is really nice and the first lesson went good, so i am really hopeful that the next one will go as well (and jack come to the baptism :) hahah

 

So we went and did family history this past week and guess what, someone from the Powell side has done family history and they went all the way back to adam and eve!! isnt that crazy. It went aaaaallllllll the way back! and turns out, theres some royalty within the Powells. WAAAAAYYYYYYYY WAAAAAYYYYYYY WAAAAAAYYYYYYYY back though. Like, back in the 400's. But i thought that was cool to see that.

 

Oh, sad story. I stepped in an ant hill this last week and i didnt reazlize it and then i look down and my feet are convered in red fire ants! and they bit me all over! so i have little ant bites all over. so sad. so so sad. Another funny thing real quick. After emails all the elders and i went out to eat at Red Robbin and the waiter was super nice and you know what came out of it? he took care of the check! for 4 elders and 2 sisters, he paid for it. Sweet huh?? it was awesome!!!
