God hears and answers ALL of our prayers.

 

Hi mama!!!

 

YES! FAVI is the CUTEST THING EVER HUH!! He melts my heart too! He remembered me from when i was here 5 months ago and that little kid and i just connect so well! Did i share with you how he got in the wheelchair? im not sure if i did or not, so i'll just say it again. He was about 1 years old and him, Luz (his mom) and Fetcho we're out on a walk. Fetcho is his older brother who was 8 at the time. And fetch ran across the street so Luz put the brake on Favi's stroller and put him right behind a truck so he wouldnt get in the street and get hit by a car, but when she got across the street, a car was coming down the street and swirved to avoid hitting them, but the car hit the truck that Favi was behind and the little ball thing that attached trailers to the truck hit Favi right in the back and it paralyzed him from the waiste down. So, thats how little Favi got paralyzed.

 

This week i tried to go the "gallon challenge". thats where you drink a whole gallon of milk in less than an hour. Elder Van Dusen (the one from mission viejo) said that he hasnt heard of anyone actually doing it, so i tried to prove him wrong. A member gave us a gallon of milk for dinner and so, i started to drink it. I got to half a gallon and then we had to pull into a gas station and i threw EVERYTHINGGGGG up. everything i'd eaten that day plus half a gallon of milk! YUCK! it was so gross! Needless to say, i havent wanted to drink milk since and i dont plan on it for a while and i very much so failed the "gallon challenge".

 

WE FOUND A MIRICALE!!!! This miricales name is Fransisco Leon! He is AMAZING. Tuesday night he called and this is how the conversation went... "hi my name is Fransisco Leon. The hermanos gave me this number and said you speak spanish. i want to come to church with you. I went to one in Decator (an hour away) and i LOVED it. But, it was in english and i didnt understand ANY of it because i dont speak ANY english. I want to learn more, i dont know much about the bible or church but my family and i need church in our lives and i want to come to your church. can you help me?" as he is saying this my heart is just jumping with joy!!!!!! Because, 20 minutes before Fransisco called us, we were tracting and we found white person after white person after white person and then the ocassional hispanics we found weren't interestred and i finally just got so frusted i made us go back to the car to say a prayer. I said the prayer and in my pray i asked for a miricale. I asked that we could find a family who will progress towards baptism and the temple and i wanted to find them that night. I was very specific with my prayer. Then, we drove to go get our exchange for the night and then he called while we were driving!!! THE LORD ANSWERED MY PRAYER AND WE FOUND OUR MIRICALE!!! He came to church yesterday with his family. His wife (hopefully legally married) Teresa and then his only son Alejandro and then Alejandro's wife Marta (again, also hopefully legally married) and they have a little 1 year old named Liam. And, after church we taught them and they ALL excepted the baptismal invite and want to be baptized!! So, we are going to work VERY HARD with them and get them baptized SOON!!! So, theres another example of the fact that God hears and answers ALL of our prayers. I later that night repented for being frustrated and then thanked him for Fransisco hahaha
