Bowling with the Elders

Hey mamma!!

Last monday we went bowling with the spanish elders. That was a lot of fun. This bowling alley here is so nice! Much nicer than any other bowling alley i'd ever gone too, so that was fun. I continue to be terrible at it. All 3 times i got in the 70's. Hna. Ram is way good at bowling! She was in the bowling team in high school haha i made fun of her for that, but then when she beat all of us, i told her that it paid off hahaha.

There is this young family that we're teaching and they have a little boy named Jacob. He is the cutest!! He has special needs and last night we showed him a picture of Jesus and he almost started crying. He said "Jesus!" I said "yeah, thats Jesus! Do you love Jesus?" and he said "yes, i love Him. I want to give him a hug. can you tell him to come visit me?" my heart just melted!! I told him "Jacob, Jesus loves you too, and he cant wait to come hug you!" And then he just smiled this HUGE smile!! It was the sweetest thing ever!! It makes so much sense my the scriptures teach us to become like little children. They are so pure and so innocent and just so loving. Jacob is the sweetest thing ever!!!! Everytime we go over, he tells us that he wants to read our books now (the book of mormon) because he likes hearing stories about Jesus. Little kids, especially little kids with special needs, are so close to the veil. They are a constant reminder of how we should be, loving and christ-like. The first picture is of me and Jacob and the 2nd is of us bowling with the spanish elders last week. A member of our branch gave us a TON of eggs, so i put one if the freezer to see what a frozen egg would look like on the inside. LAME is what is looks like! It looks like a frozen yellow egg. So boring. Major dissappoitment for sure. Thats what the 3rd picture is of, the egg. Well, i love you!!! hope all is well back home! Have a great week!!!
