how are you? our investigators HECTOR AND VALENTINA ARE GETTING MARRIED SOON! the plans changed, now the wedding and baptism are on the same date. saturday, june 2, we cannot wait!!! sister allred and i went wedding dress shopping with Valentina yesterday, i'll attach some pictures in another email, but it was so fun!! she is so stinkin cute!!! i will have so much to tell you next week after the wedding and baptism.
oh my goodness!! our air conditioning went out the other night. IT WAS SO HOT!!! luckily it was only out for a day and a night but man, it was killer hot. and that was the day i got sun burnt, so all i wanted was to go home to a nice cool apartment....oh nope. it was hotter than africa in there (as you would say). well, its def getting hotter here in texas, thats for sure!! i love it tho, not the heat...that i can do without. but i am loving texas. they have a saying something like "the heart of texas" well, where i am. here in GHETTO waco, they call it the "Armpit of texas" hahahah isnt that funny??
my favorite member in our branch, her name is Hermana Requena....she is awesome. but she gave me a texas SNUGGIE!!!! it has "TEXAS" on it real big and bold. i forgot to take a picture in it, so i'll do that some time this next week and send you that. mom....i rode the bus for the first time!!!!! its was so dirty and so sketchy, but all is well. the lord sure does protect us missionaries! i took a picture, cuz i knew you would have a hard time believing me on public transportation...hahahaha.
the best news is i've read the Book Of Mormon twice since i've been on my mission and i am so happy here, please always remember that :) i hope you have a great week and are safe!! i pray for you every day!!! know how much i love you!!
