"The bunny lady"
Hi mom!

I waited and waited EVERY DAY for it. i looked in the mail and every day i thought "maybe she wrote me today" and nope...never got a letter. i got my letter from Casey tho, so at least HE writes me!!! i was sad when i never got a letter this week because all i wanted was a letter from you and i never got one, so can you please PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, POR FAVOR write me a letter and put it in my package? i dont want a package unless it has a letter in it :) thanks! Yes, i hear from Carissa weekly :)
Ok, so i have SUCH A FUNNY STORY! you know how theres that running joke about the old lady that lives with all the cats? well, i met a lady who makes the cat lady look normal. No joke. This lady i met, i dont remember her name, but i will forever remember her a "the bunny lady". she has, 300 bunnies in her back yard!!! not kidding, and then she had over 20 in her house just hoppin around freely. She said that we can come back and take pictures, sadly neither of us had our cameras on us, but we're welcomed to go back and take pictures. and you better belive we're going to! Also, we had a fun little experience with this dog names Cali this week. So, heres what happened. we were out tracting and this little puppy came up and i looked at her coller and realized she was missing. so, we call the lady on the phone and she says that she sold that dog on craigs list and this is the 2nd time the dog has gotten out and they've gotten called for it. So, she tries to call the real owner who doesnt answer. mean while, im trying to find a neighbor who can babysit cali while the owner comes and gets her. we talked to 3 people and they all had a different excuse as to why they couldnt. Mind you, this dog is easly about 25 pounds and i didnt wanna let her go for fear of her running off again, so that meant that i had to carry her around. so, its now raining and me and hna. snow are going tracting while holding cali. we looked so weird. finally this lady said she couldnt watch her, but she lent me a leash. so, now we're tracting in the rain walking a dog. a man 3 streets down says he'll watch her. so, we said our goodbyes to cali and then went to return the leash (which wasnt even a leash, it was a part to a back pack that we hooked onto the coller and made it a leash) and after we return it, we are walking down the drive way and this car is driving down the street saying "cali....cali..." we stop the car and ask if she's looking for a beagle and she said yes, so she followed us to the mans house we were left Cali and then she picked her up and took her home, so it all ended up nicely and Cali was returned home! The next day my arms were SO sore and i couldnt think of why and then it hit me....it was because i carried around a 25 pound dog for about 45 minutes. And hna snow wouldnt take a turn cause she's not a huge fan of dogs. So, it was all up to me! but, of course we went to such extreems because imagine if that was my baby roxie!!!! I would so want someone to do that for me as well! So, there was a happy ever after for cali.
Aside from those two things, bunny lady and cali, nothing else really happened this week. my spanish is getting pretty good!!! about time haha but its now to the point where people (natives) comment on how good my spanish is. Oh, actually yesterday we were tracting and we asked the man if any of his neighbors were spanish speaking and he asked why and we explained because we spoke spanish and then he suppperrrrrr quickly said something in spanish, totally thinking we wouldnt get it, and i understood it all and then talked back to him (of course not as quickly as he did, but in spanish nontheless) and he was totally taken off guard and then we kept the conversation going in spanish but he slowed down once he realized that we really did speak spanish. He was totally just trying to be a brat and test our spanish. Thank goodness i was able to understand him! me speaking spanish is a testimony in itself that God answers prayers!! It would NOT be possible for me to do so without the help of the Lord, i know that 100%!! I love spanish so much!! It is something that i want to keep studying when i come home. I want to continue to get better and better at it. It definantly nowhere near perfect right now, but i can defiently hold my own and say im fluent. But i'll be excited to take a class and have a teacher actually teach me how to speak it and why its spoken that way, instead of me teaching myself for an hour a day and just picking up on what the natives say.
I love you!!
