'I'd like one egg and cheese baby donkey please"

Hi mommy!!

How are you? Soooo about the surgery. so i got an apt up in denton, i had one in waco then they moved it to denton, so i had to wait for denton. so it was suppose to be tomorrow morning and then literally like 20 min ago the lady calls me and says, "im sorry but the person who made the apt didnt realize that we dont do tendon rumptures. so here, i have a number of someone who does." i was so ticked! Ive been waiting for 2 weeks now and this finger is not happy!! anyways, so i gotta call the dr after emails and set up an apt with him.  i'll let you know what happens with my finger when i find out more.

casey told me he had his baptism! thats so great! he also.....ready?? TOOK A PICTURE WITH A WESTIE!!!!!!!!!! isnt that awesome?? oh i was so happy. he sent it and it just melted my little heart. he is so stinkin cute. but...that westie aint got nothin on my gorgeous baby! oh how i miss her so!!! how are things back home? 

I LOVE my new comp! she is just adorable. her name is hermana shelton. she is 4'10 haha so she's tiny but she is just the cutest thing. we get along soooo well! and she's a huge talker like me. so sometimes we just talk and talk and talk and then are like "crap! we gotta go!" haha but she's way awesome. Im so bummed because this is her last transfer :( so i only get 6 weeks with her. go fingure..

denton is soo much hotter than waco! oh my. its 110 up here. waco got to like 106 but man...that 4 degrees reeeaaallyyyy makes a difference, thats for sure. its really weird getting to know all these investigators cause hermana shelton has been here for 3 months so she's way tight with em all and i gotta get to know them from the begining. its an adjustment from going from knowning my investigators in and out back in waco to not knowing them at all haha i'll get to know them too, but it'll just take time. cause when hermana allred and i went to waco, we white washed wich means that we both went into the area new together. they had elders there and then they took em out and put us in. so we went around and had to get to know everyone together, here its different cause hermana shelton already has a relationship with them and stuff, but its cool. we have a set of spanish elders in our ward. its waaaayyyy cool to be serving around other spanish missionaries. in waco it was just us and the closest spanish was an hour away. here, thier 5 min away so we drive em to dinners and church and stuff with us so we get to talk in spanish all the time. its fun! i love it! 

mom, you would be so proud. ive turned into a little clean freak like you! not kidding. i came into denton and our apartment was a messssssss. so i took the first night and day just cleaning it. not even unpacking or anything. and the car was a straight up catastrophe. (sound that out, i dont know how to spell it) so i got a little stressed and cleaned that out right away. hermana shelton isnt the cleanest, but once i clean it up she keeps it clean. so i came in and just sanatized our apt and car and now its all good. but i was the one who had to do it! i cant work in mess! you ruined me hahaha you would be so proud mamma! 

its a bummer cause in waco, i did not have a single night were i had to cook my own dinner. NOT ONE! i was fed every night. and if a member wasnt able to, they gave us money to go out. so i never had to buy many groceries or anything and here in denton, our calender is wiiiiiiiiide open!! it sucks!!! so gift cards to places would be nice too! they have pretty much everything here so thats nice. del taco, chick-fil-a, mcdonalds, carls, wendys. everything but el pollo loco. oh, wanna know a fun fact for the day. burrito...like the food. the word burrito actually means "little donkey". isnt that funny?? so when you go up to del taco and ask for your famous egg and cheese burrito you should day "i'd like one egg and cheese baby donkey" hahahahah isnt that funny? when i found that out i laughed so hard. 

tell amparo that i loved her journal and thank you so much! tell curtis and kyle and austin i say hi. i think i'll write them today if i have time. so no promises, but i'll try. how is drew doin in argentina? whats his address? i wanna write him. and guess what....im gonna write him in spanish! cool huh? anyways...

thats so good that elder powell is growing!! i miss him! he looks so good in his pictures that he sends me. oh, make sure to tell the langones that i say thank you for all the packages that they send me. they send me a ton of food and stuff. its awesome! umm i dont think i really have anything else left to say this week. other than i love you! you're awesome!! and i still havent gotten my cone cup or my letter. GET ON THAT! :)
