She is one fiesty mexican!!

Hola Madre!
Well, this week was crazy!! So, Monday night, we were having a lesson with this man named...oh man, i forgot his name. But, it was probably Juan or Jose. During the lesson, Jose (our stalker) walked up and waited for us outside. We closed the lesson and went outside to get our bikes (yup, we were on our bikes again!) and we ignored him and went the other direction. Well, our little amigo decided to follow us again. So, we ride away and through a park and through a neighborhood and trying to lose him, but every time i looked behind, he was closer. (creeeeeeeepy!) We werent sure were to go and then we remember a member from one of the english wards lived around the corner from where we were. We then peddled faster (not that we werent already) and then got to their house. we hid our bikes in the bushes hoping that if he rode by he wouldnt see them. We knock on their door and....NOT HOME! So, we then get in the bushes WITH our bikes and we call the spanish elders and tell them they need to come get us ASAP. We call Pres. and he doesnt answer. So, we now just sit and wait in the bushes of some english members house for the elders. They finally get there and pick us up. We get ahold of President and he yet again tells us to leave for the night and then call the police in the morning. I personally thought we should have called that night, but we did what President said to do. We go out to the other Sister apartments and spent the night there. Next morning, went home and called the police. They came over and took a report and blah blah blah and they said we should have called last night cause they could have arrested him. Go figure! But, after the report the cop said that they'd look into it, but to file for stalking, there has to be more than one report. So then our day goes on and nothing really happened. A few days later, on Friday, we get this call from a detective! He tells me that we need to leave those apartments asap and get out of that area. So, i call President and tell him that and then at 10pm that same night , we moved to another apartment. Now, our apartment is so nice!! We have a gym and a washer and dryer, so we dont have to pay to do laundry anymore, and we have computers here in the gym, so we dont even go to the library anymore! We can do it all here! Its so nice! They said they had to close the case with Jose because he lives 2 blocks away from us and he can just argue and say that he's walking around his neighborhood. Bummer! But, we no longer live there, so that problem is solved! No more Jose!

Remember Alonzo, our investigator i was telling you about? He's so sweeeeeeet!!! I love that man!! We went over on Wednesday and helped him garden. There was a HUGE HUGE HUGE storm the night before so his dirt was complete MUD. we got in the mud and it was so fun. On saturday we went by and saw him again (we see him every day) and his sister walks in, Lupe (who is HILARIOUS!!!), and says "Hermanas! its hot! Lets go get ice cream!" so, we did! we left and went and got ice cream togther. She then also took us out to lunch at this place called Golden Chick. I love it!!! Its basically a high class KFC. Then, we went by on sunday and she asked if we had eaten dinner. (even tho we already had, we told her no. why? one, theres nothing wrong with 2 dinners in my book and two, Lupe is not someone you get on her bad side. she is one fiesty mexican. She wanted to feed us, and she was gonna feed us). We thought she had made dinner and was gonna re heat it for us, right? Oh no. She says "good! i'll go get dominos for ya!" Well, heres the thing......we didnt break the sabbath and she isnt a member...sooooo, we ate the dominos! After that we asked her to take us home. So, she gave us a ride home and she is just so dang funny!!

During our lesson with alonzo that night (only he is investigating cause everyone else is "catholic". and catholic is in quotes cause they NEVER go. typical mexican catholic.) anyways, Alonzo told us that he loved us and that he is so grateful for us. He told us this story that happened this past week. He said that he was at the neighbors house and his neighbor offered him some dope, and he said "No, i have my church girls coming over and i cant disappoint them." then said he walked away! I am SO proud of him cause he says that in his old life, he would have said yes. But, now he doesnt because he says that we've helped him find a new life and he doesnt want to go back to his old ways. Alonzo is so amazing!!!

This morning i was rolling on a big exercise ball that we have and Hna. Ram came up and kicked the ball our from under me! (she was just playing so it was funny) but then my head flew back and hit the wall and now i have a HUGE bump on my head!! So, during studies this morning i had a bag of frozen vegtables on my head, i took a picture so i'll make sure to send that over to you today too. I dont really think anything else happened this week. Oh, it is officially hot now tho. It got to 100 degrees yesterday so hello texas summer!!
